Natural vs Relaxed

I see that it is some what of a trend now to go natural. Many sisters who were addicted to the "creamy crack" are now trading it in for natural styles. Now this is not your ordinary "motherland" type sisters. These ladies are fly, confident, and gave the ol' school afro a modern twist. With braid outs, twist outs, and bantu knots, they flaunt these styles flawlessly. I have been thinking about jumping on the band wagon myself. Shoot Beyonce and Trina are natural. So far I am 3 months post and pushing for six. I could go into all of the aesthetics of natural vs relaxed but that would take way too long. In any case tell me what you think.

Harlem Heights??

OK, has anyone seen that new show on B.E.T., "Harlem Heights"?? Is anyone on the show even from Harlem, who is an actual native? They all seem clueless and the show is a little to scripted to me. I guess it is supposed to be the black version of "The Hills", but it falls ridiculously short. This show is annoying and such a waste, B.E.T. try again please because I am NOT entertained. Tell me what you think.

Single Again...This is For The Fellas

You know guys often ask me questions like: "Why are you still single" and "Are you just waiting on the right one"? To be completely honest with you, I don't have the answer to that question. I have been told that I am picky but I disagree...what is wrong with getting what you want. Don't beat me up just yet, I know perfection is unattainable, but i do not seek it either. Please do not tell me that there is plenty of good men out there...heard it all before. Fellas please step your game up and I do not mean to spit game but just be genuine and real with yours. That Brad Pitt Sure is Something Else

OK, so I was finally able to watch "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (online of course), and I can tell you that it was a wonderful movie and I enjoyed it a great deal. Now I like Brad Pitt just as much as the next woman but it took this movie for me to realize just how handsome he was. Brad Pitt j'taime! Well done, I can say! I don't know what it was about the movie but I found myself tearing up even when the elderly people passed away. I do have to give a high five to my girl Taraji..you did a splendid job.
